Authentic 1992 styling, left-hand drive, diesel, and it starts every time. It can sit still for a stills shoot or drive for a moving sequence.
The Defender is finished in Astro Grey with black wheel arches and trim, on black off-road wheels and all-terrain tires. It carries a full-length expedition roof rack, rear ladder and rear-mounted spare, upgraded headlights and tinted rear glass. Nothing about it reads as a modern reissue; it is the real 110 silhouette.
It is based in Alexandria, Virginia, about fifteen minutes from downtown DC, and travels throughout the region.

What it does
Film & television
Picture car for narrative, documentary and streaming productions. Stationary or driving, day or night.
Commercials & branded content
Outdoor, apparel, automotive-adjacent and lifestyle campaigns that want a real classic 4x4 in frame.
Photography
Editorial, fashion and lifestyle shoots. Short sessions available, so a half day is not the minimum.
Weddings & events
Arrivals, portraits, getaway car and on-site presence for weddings, engagements and private events.
Music videos
Driving and static setups. The truck can be repositioned between shots as often as the schedule needs.
Driving sequences
Fully operational, so moving-vehicle shots, process trailer work and tracking shots are all on the table.
Off-road filming
Owner-driven. Trails, fields, gravel, mud and water crossings with someone who knows the truck at the wheel.
Prop & set dressing
Parked in frame as a stationary picture car, with keys on site for repositioning.

Starting rates for the truck on location with the owner present. Every booking is quoted before it is confirmed.
Driver time, transport to and from location, mileage beyond the local area, specialised rigging and off-road use are quoted separately where they apply. Multi-day and recurring productions get a package rate.

How a booking works
The owner comes with the truck. The Defender is delivered to location and stays with the owner for the duration. For driving sequences the owner drives, or hands over to a production driver by prior arrangement. Unsupervised self-drive rental is not offered.
Insurance. Productions carry their own liability and equipment coverage naming the vehicle, as they would for any picture car. Agreed-value coverage for the Defender and responsibility for damage during the booking are set out in the rental agreement before the shoot day.
Holds and deposits. A date is held on a signed agreement and deposit. Weather days, overtime and location changes are handled in the quote so there are no surprises on the day.
Travel. Washington DC, Northern Virginia and Maryland are local. Richmond, Baltimore, Annapolis, the Shenandoah and the Eastern Shore are a short drive and are quoted with transport included.
